Listening and Speaking

  I watched Denzel Washington's speech about dreaming big, and it really inspired me. He said we should set high goals for ourselves and believe we can achieve them. I think this is really important because if we don't aim high, we'll never know what we're capable of. Denzel also talked about working hard and never giving up. He said that success doesn't come easy, and we have to keep trying even when things get tough. I like this idea because it reminds me that if I want to achieve something, I need to put in the effort.  I decided to start taking ESL classes because I want to be able to communicate better in English at work and in my everyday life. English is spoken all over the world, so it's really important to know. I want to feel more confident when I speak English, and I also want to learn more about different cultures by reading English books and watching English movies. I really want to improve my reading, writing, and listening skills. For reading, I want to be able to read English articles smoothly and understand what they mean. I also want to learn new words and phrases. For writing, I want to be able to write clear and correct English, whether it's an email, a report, or an essay. I want to be able to express my ideas clearly. For listening, I want to be able to understand different English accents, like American English and British English.  Hello! My name is Hsin. I'm from Taiwan. My birthday is 8/27. I'm studying ESL in Savannah State University. I like listening to music. And my favorite color is white and blue.
